This week the legs were feelin’ a lil cranky, most likely due to the 23 miler with 12 hills I completed on Sunday. I had to shuffle around my workouts as best I could because I took a road trip to Washington DC with Kimikay to visit our buddies Amy & Seth! I moved my usual Sunday long run to Thursday. It went surprisingly well for having not had as much rest time in between long runs, I averaged an 8:27 pace per mile. Satisfied. I wasn’t able to squeeze in a speedworkout, but I’m okay with that, as I said, the legs were super cranky early in the week, and it was nice to have a break from speed training for a week. Looking forward to a couple more weeks of solid training before the dreaded taper!
